The Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center is closely monitoring the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) situation. The health and safety of our patrons, performers, and staff is our priority. The VMCCC is working with city and health agencies for information and guidance, and will respond as directed in the coming days.
1) Should an event be canceled because of the COVID-19 outbreak, you will receive a 100% refund on your ticket(s). The VMCCC currently has no plans to cancel performances taking place in the facility. If you have your tickets, then you are all set for your show!
If you are ill or suspect you have been in contact with someone who is known to have COVID-19, please remain at home. We will happily exchange your tickets for a future performance if you are unable to attend due to illness during this outbreak.
2) The VMCCC is currently taking the following procedures to protect all who enter our facility:
Increased frequency of cleaning and sanitation on all surfaces, including seats, using CDC approved disinfectant products.
Asking staff and volunteers to monitor their health, regularly wash their hands, and stay at home if they or a household member show any symptoms of illness.
Ushers have been directed to only look at tickets and not touch or handle them in any capacity.
Encouraging preventative measures for patrons, including hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette.
Requiring bartenders to wear gloves during preparation and service.
3) Meet & Greets - All meet & greet opportunities will be limited or canceled for the immediate future. Please refrain from shaking hands or any other physical interactions with artists in consideration of their health. Please do not shake hands with other guests as well.
4) The VMCCC asks you to please follow the CDC health guidelines.
The Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center appreciates your support and cooperation in helping protect our community. We look forward to welcoming you at our next event!
